V rámci Slovenského dne se 28. srpna 2010 na dostihovém závodišti v Pardubicích uskuteční stejně jako i v minulých letech Dostih Destinační společnosti Východní Čechy a Rádia Blaník. Tento dostihový den proběhne zároveň i III. kvalifikace na Velkou pardubickou České pojišťovny. Program celého dne na pardubickém dostihovém závodišti bude zahájen ve 12:45 a svou účast na této akci přislíbil i radní Pardubického kraje zodpovědný za cestovní ruch JUDr. Miroslav Stejskal. Ten také mimo jiné dodává: „Dostihový sport má v tomto regionu dlouholetou tradici a je zároveň velkým turistickým lákadlem pro návštěvníky Pardubického kraje, a to jak tuzemských tak i zahraničních. Věřím, že bude krásné počasí a že všichni, kteří na dostihový den zavítají, budou mít možnost pozorovat špičkové sportovní výkony koní i jezdců.“.
